Backbone Front Light Bar Harness
Buy now for free shipping on all Blaze Off-Road Products!
This harness is designed to work with our backbone wiring system to wire in your light bar! Keep wiring simple, clean, and reliable with the Blaze Off-Road backbone system.
Please select your light plug based on what you need, and be aware that some Baja Designs OnX6 light bars have two plugs and will need two harnesses, also using up two of your power plugs on the backbone harness.
This harness is designed to work with the Blaze Off-Road BackBone roof rack wiring system, and you will need a BackBone harness to use this harness. This is not a stand-alone harness.
Please keep in mind that the Diode SS5 pro bar cannot work with the backbone harness kit.
Harnesses are made to order and can take 3-5 weeks in some cases.
Our harnesses are designed to be as DIY friendly as possible. Simply plug them into your lights, then connect them to your switching system.
Okay, that's a lie; you need a basic screwdriver for your switching system's terminals.
BUT, no crimping, splicing, cutting, or soldering required!
Our harnesses are designed around only the highest quality components on the market. We cut ZERO corners when building our harnesses, so they are ready for the harshest of conditions, trip after trip.
Built in the USA, our harnesses are made to the standards that your build deserves.
We rely on the information that you provide to manufacture your harness correctly. If you provide incorrect information, we will not be able to give you a refund or rebuild the harness.
These harnesses are designed to work with switching systems such as the SPOD or Garmin units ONLY. The harnesses have a ring terminal termination that will work with the Garmin, Spod, and other similar kits. In most cases, these harnesses work with Power Trays and Switch Pros Mount Tray systems as well. If you need the harness built with flying leads to connect it to upfitter switches please let us know and we can do that free of charge.
Blaze Off-Road is not responsible for any misinstallation or over-cutting of harnesses if modified. If you choose to modify a harness, PLEASE measure twice and cut once. There will be no refunds on modified harnesses.
The customer is responsible for calculating the total amperage of their lights to make sure they will work with their switching system. We can look into this for you, but we need all the system information included in the notes at checkout; otherwise, your harness will ship designed to work with a standard #8 ring terminal switching system.
For higher amperage bars (such as the OnX6), or larger pods (such as the LP series lights) we can build the harness with one of our high amp relay kits. You, the customer, are responsible for letting us know what switching system you will be using if you would like us to advise you on amperage limits and relay requirements.
If your lights have low and high beam features, harnesses WILL NOT offer the low beam feature. If you accidentally turn on both low and high beams at the same time, it will fry the LP lights from Baja Designs, and can cause complications on other lights. Being that so few people have real reasons for using the low beam on trucks we do not offer the feature. These harnesses are designed to be used with a under hood mounted switching system such as the Garmin PowerSwitch.
Harnesses will be subject to a 50% cancelation fee once they have started production and cannot be canceled or returned once the order has shipped.
Blaze harnesses come with a limited lifetime warranty, subject to inspection, customer use case, and other factors.
Harnesses are made to order.

Stock Vs Blaze Harnesses
The harnesses that came with your lights are bulky, unreliable, complex to use, and prone to failure. Blaze Off-Road harnesses are the opposite of that. Easy to install, no cutting, crimping, splicing, or soldering needed.

Most Common Harness Questions
I know NOTHING about wiring, can I still use these harnesses?
Absolutely, these harnesses are designed for customers just like you. You do not need to know anything about wiring at all to install these harnesses. They are designed to be as easy as possible, showing up ready to plug and play.
What if I have upfitter switches, and not a switching system?
Easy, we make harnesses for exactly that as well! Let us know you don't need the ring terminals, and we will build the harness for your upfitter switches!
